Police investigating armed robbery at Festus gas station

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a robbery at a gas station near Festus.
Grant Bissell is the sheriff department’s public safety information coordinator.
He says a call came in just after 2:30 Thursday morning about an incident at a BP station on Highway 61.
Detectives are looking for what they believe to be a white male wearing blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a black hoodie.
There are photos of surveillance footage from the incident that can be viewed at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page.
