Politte To Be Set Free

(Washington County) It looks like Michael Politte will soon be a free man. As we told you back in October, Politte had been in prison since 2002 after being convicted of second degree murder involving the 1998 death of his mother in Hopewell in Washington County. St. Louis Public Radio is now reporting that Politte has been granted a release date. Linda Dickerson-Bell was on the jury for that trial. She says she always had her doubts about his guilt.

The latest information indicates that Politte has been given a release date and could be a free man as soon as April.
