Potosi and Forsyth to Battle for Final Four Appearance on J-98

(Potosi) Two years ago the Potosi Trojan softball program made its first trip to the state final four and finished third in the spring softball season. The Trojans are back in the state bracket this year and are a win away from returning to the semis. Potosi starts state bracket play at 24-3. Two of those losses came to Central, but a 6-2 victory over the Rebels in the district championship game evened the season series…

Potosi will host 21-5 Forsyth in the quarterfinal game. The Panthers also had their best season in school history two years ago, and are looking for their first final four appearance in school history. Forsyth outcored its opponents 30-1 during district play. Coach Jeff Walls says team is playing its best softball…
