Potosi Awarded Wastewater Grant

(Potosi) The City of Potosi has been awarded a 50-thousand dollar grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
It’s a Clean Water Engineering Report Grant to help evaluate Potosi’s wastewater system.
The news release from the D.N.R. says the City will use the grant to develop the report, intended to identify wastewater system improvements needed to continue reliable service, meet permit requirements and reduce inflow and infiltration of storm water into sewer collection pipes.
The plan needs to be complete by January of 2023.
The report will also help the City of Potosi plan for future growth and development.
