Potosi Baseball Season Preview

(Washington County) The Potosi Trojan baseball team has played some tough competition to start their season. Head coach Steve McCoy gives his thoughts on the 1-2 start for his ball club.

The Trojans graduated five seniors from last year’s team but they have some reliable bats returning.

McCoy says a couple of players will join Coleman in getting consistent innings on the mound but there is still a lot to figure out.

Rainy weather is the enemy of the spring sports season but McCoy says they work hard to keep the field at Potosi High in playing shape.

Potosi is scheduled to play Festus Thursday afternoon on the Tigers’ turf field, weather pending of course.
