Potosi Board Honored For School Board Recognition Month

(Potosi) The month of March is a special time for school boards in Missouri.
It’s School Board Recognition Month.
Alex McCaul is the superintendent of the Potosi School District.
He says they have already showed some love to their board of education a little early.
Superintendent McCaul says being a school board member is sometimes a tough job to do.
The goal of School Board Recognition Month is to build awareness and understanding of the important function an elected board of education plays in communities and schools.
All Missouri citizens are asked to recognize the important contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the vital role these public officials play in the education of Missouri’s children.
