Potosi Men Injured after Head-On Collision in Washington County

(Cannon Mines) Two men from Potosi were injured Saturday afternoon in a two vehicle accident in Washington County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘E’ Highway at Bell Fountain Road when a Chevy Cruze driven by a 51-year-old Lloyd Conner crossed the center line and struck the front of a Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old juvenile.

The teenage driver was not injured but Conner received serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.

Conner’s passenger, 21-year-old Brandon Conner received moderate injuries.

He was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi.
