Potosi Resident Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in St. Louis County

(Sunset Hills) A Potosi resident was injured this afternoon in a two vehicle accident in St. Louis County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on I-270 at I-44 when a car driven by 43-year-old Andrew Sextro of St. Charles and a car driven by 53-year-old Thelma Steele of Potosi were both southbound on 270 when Steele’s car merged from lane 6 to lane 5 to avoid a parked vehicle.
That’s when Sextro’s car struck Steele’s car.
Steele received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis for treatment.
