Potosi school board reviews district performance score, starts taking candidates for open seats

The Potosi R-3 school district reviewed its performance score from the previous year during November’s board of education meeting.

Superintendent Randy Davis says while he doesn’t know why some of the criteria changed, he’s still pleased with how the district scored.

Davis says the board also agreed to start taking filings on December 20th for candidates to fill the upcoming vacant spots on the board.

The deadline to file to run for the Potosi school board is January 21st.
In other news, the R-3 board got a report on the finished new sound system for the middle school and the upcoming replacement of the high school sound system.
