A dominant season for the Potosi Trojans that now includes the school’s first district championship continues this (Monday) evening when the Trojans host the Winona Wildcats on KREI in one of 8 MSHSAA state sectional games for spring softball.

The Trojans scored 33 runs in last week’s District 5 tournament to improve to 18-1, furthering the reasons why Potosi is ranked tops in the state by the Missouri Fastpitch Coaches Association. Trojans head coach Tyler Beers says his team’s success only makes their first state tournament tougher.

Winona is 11-10 after winning the District 6 title. You can hear Potosi take on the Wildcats this (Monday) evening with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show starting at 4:45 on AM-800 KREI.
