The Potosi Lady Trojans softball team went on the road and defeated West County 11-1 Monday in a game heard on AM 800 KREI.

Potosi got up 3-0 in the first inning and never looked back.

Sophomore pitcher Sydney Litton went the distance and tallied 11 strikeouts. She also accounted for two hits, including this big RBI double.

Litton was our Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game.
Lady Trojans head coach Tyler Beers was happy to gain an early advantage in this one.

With the win, Potosi is now 9-0 and moves to 6-0 in the MAAA. The Lady Trojans will next play Kingston at home on Wednesday.
The Lady Bulldogs of West County drop to 2-3 and 1-3 in conference play and have Arcadia Valley on the road on Wednesday for their next contest.
