(LEADWOOD, Mo.) – The Potosi Trojans softball team will travel to Leadwood on Monday for a face-off with the West County Bulldogs on AM 800 KREI.

Potosi is 8-0 on the season and sits atop the MAAA standings with a 5-0 record in conference play. They have not won by less than seven runs all year long.

Head coach Tyler Beers has loved his team’s offensive output so far this Spring, and that was certainly the case after their most recent 14-6 victory over Ste. Genevieve on Friday.

On the side of West County, a team that plays their primary season in the Fall, they are 2-2 on the season with a 1-2 MAAA record.
The Bulldogs actually won the Class 1, District 6 title in the Fall and are treating this season as a building year according to head coach C.J. Wright.

Potosi and West County are scheduled for a first pitch Monday at 4 with the pregame show on AM 800 KREI beginning at 3:45.
