(Potosi) The Potosi boys basketball team won their first game of the season 41-40 over Sullivan and take to the court tonight in the second round of the Sullivan tournament. The Trojans lost their first five games last season and head coach Jackson Conaway thinks this years bunch is ready to take the next step and win close games.

Conaway says he has about eight players that get play time on floor and all of them contribute.

In his second season at the helm, Conaway believes his guys have taken to the system well and should be able to execute better than last year.

Potosi won just four games last season but started 1-0 this year. They take on Ste. Genevieve tonight in the second round of the Sullivan tournament.
