Potosi Truck Driver Seriously Injured After Gust Of Wind Knocked Over Freightliner

(Jefferson County) A Potosi man was seriously injured in a freak accident in Jefferson County Thursday morning. Highway patrol says 44-year-old John Jolly was in a freightliner unloading its dump trailer on the lot of the Jefferson County Highway Department. As Jolly began moving the truck forward, a gust of wind struck its left side and overturned. Jolly was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson shortly after the accident just before 7 o’clock Thursday morning.
