Potosi Wins North County Volleyball Tournament

(Bonne Terre) The Potosi Trojans volleyball team won the North County tournament last weekend. The team came in focused and ready to play, and saw some success. According to head coach Ashley Matthews, the girls lost to a tough Festus squad in pool play, but made the adjustments to get the win during their next meeting.

Coach Matthews had rave reviews of Ava and Eden Robart, the sisters who have been impactful members of the team this year.

Matthews talks about the value of midseason tournament experience.

Potosi’s next game will take place September 20th against Festus.
