Potosi’s Gaghen earns football Dream Team honor as jack-of-all-trades

Isaac Gaghen knew he was going to be asked to do a lot on the football field for the Potosi Trojans in 2019.

But he didn’t shy away from having to be a leader on both sides of the ball, and his efforts earned him a Regional Radio Dream Team selection.

Gaghen says he was preparing to be a two-way star back in the offseason.

Gaghen certainly made big plays all season long for the Trojans, rushing for over 1,000 yards and 7 touchdowns while also leading Potosi in tackles and forcing 6 turnovers.
Gaghen was named first-team all-conference as a defensive back, and a lot of his favorite memories from his final season come playing defense.

Gaghen will be playing basketball this winter and run track in the spring.
He is considering attending Southeast Missouri State University after graduation.
