Potosi’s Kayley Heeter Lands a Spot on the Regional Radio Cross Country Dream Team

(Potosi, Mo.) Kayley Heeter of the Potosi Trojans was named to the Regional Radio Cross Country Dream Team after a terrific senior season in which she had six top-five finishes and a 13th place finish at the Class 3 State Meet where she set a personal record with a time of 19:26.

Heeter says it means a lot to her to have been selected by local coaches as one of the best cross country runners in the area this year.

Having spent all four years in the cross country program at Potosi, Heeter says the best part has been the support of head coach Amanda Politte.

Now in her senior year at Potosi, Heeter says she will continue her running career collegiately but has not yet decided where that will be.

Heeter was named to the MAAA All-Conference and Class 3 All-District teams all four years she has been at Potosi in addition to qualifying for the Class 3 State Meet all four years as well.

She will continue her running career at Potosi during the track and field season in the spring in which she will run the 800, 1600, 3200, and 4×800.
