Potosi’s Kayley Heeter Signs to Run Cross Country and Track for University of Missouri-St. Louis

(Potosi, Mo.) A decorated runner for the Potosi Trojans, Kayley Heeter has signed to run both cross country and track for the University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons.

Heeter says she chose UMSL because of the opportunity to join a new program and staying close to her friends and family.

A four-year runner with the Potosi cross country and track teams, Heeter says she has enjoyed being an athlete for the Trojans.

Potosi cross country head coach Amanda Politte says she’s thrilled for Heeter to have the experience of being a college athlete.

Trojans track and field head coach Ed Haar says he’s excited for Heeter to have the chance to be a college athlete in a big city like St. Louis.

Heeter was tabbed MAAA All-Conference and Class 3 All-District all four years with the Potosi Trojans.

She was also named to the 2019 Regional Radio Cross Country Dream Team.
