Potosi’s Missey named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Potosi) Potosi Trojans sophomore Allison Missey is the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.

Monday night, Missey became the first girls’ wrestler in school history to qualify for state when she finished second at 105 pounds at the District 1 championships in Wildwood.

Trojans head coach Michael Huddleston says Missey is one of a kind.

Missey’s loss in the championship bout is only the second she’s taken all season.

As Athlete of the Week, she receives a T-shirt, a certificate and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
