Potosi’s Sansegraw Runs Her Way to A Dream Team Selection

(Potosi) Celeste Sansegraw placed 21st at the girls cross country Class 3 State Meet, along with every other meet she ran this year. She ran a personal record this season at the Bismark meet earning her a spot on the 2020 Region Radio Dream Team. She says when she found out she couldn’t believe it.

The Potosi girls cross country team brought home third place overall at the state meet, and Celeste says a lot of work went into being ready for that challenge.

Sansegraw sets lofty goals for herself, she wants to place in every meet she runs every year, and with two years remaining in high school she doesn’t plan to stop.

The entire Potosi cross country team was a tight nit group this year, and Sansegraw is thankful for her teammates.

Celeste placed second at the district meet, third at Bismark, fourth at Farmington, fifth at Arcadia Valley. She has earned MAAA All-Conference, Class 3 All-District and Class All-State in each of her first two seasons.
