Prosecuting Attorney Candidate for Wayne County Charged with Burglary of His Mother’s Home

(Greenville) The Wayne County Journal Banner is reporting that a candidate running for Wayne County Prosecutor is facing three criminal charges.

Rocky Kingree of rural Piedmont has been charged with three crimes since April in Stoddard, Carter and Iron Counties.

He was charged with the burglary of his mother’s residence, a felony in Stoddard County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol stopped Kingree in Carter County and was subsequently charge with misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated.

And over the 4th of July holiday weekend the Piemont Police pulled him over for driving while revoked, a misdemeanor.

If convicted of the felony, Kingree would not be able to serve office in Missouri by law.
