Public Hearing Set Prior to Approval of New Perryville City Budget

(Perryville) It’s budget time for the City of Perryville.

A public hearing date of February 18th at 6:30 p.m. was set during this week’s city council meeting.

City Administrator Brent Buerck says no big problems have come up so far.

The Perryville City Council also set the date of March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. for public hearings on the wastewater improvement project.

In other news from the Perryville City Council meeting, ordinances were worked on related to panhandling and curfews for minors.

The council gave approval for the City to participate in the Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday which runs April 19th through the 25th.

Also, approval was given to hold the annual Polar Beer 5K Run which is sponsored by Mary Jane Burgers and Brew.

It’s going to be Saturday, March 28th.
