(DESOTO) It’s going to be the 2-0 Windsor Owls in DeSoto Friday night to face the 0-2 Dragons for some football on AM 1400 KJFF. The Owls are coming off a dramatic 20-19 come-from-behind victory over Seckman last week. The win for Windsor set them up for a chance to start off a season 3-0 for the first time since 2006.

Head coach Alex DeMatteis loves the historical implications attached to Friday night’s game but chooses for that not to be the focus of this group.

So with the focus on DeSoto, the Owls have been preparing all week for a majority pass attack by the Dragons.

DeSoto head coach Chris Johnson says that his guys will have to be ready for quarterback Derek Williams and every headache he can cause their defense.

Coach Johnson adds that his wide receivers are still adjusting to the offense led by senior quarterback Briar Fischer.

Windsor and DeSoto kick off at 7 p.m. at the home of the Dragons on AM 1400 KJFF.
