Quick response after juveniles escape

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office took a pair of juveniles into custody after they escaped from the Juvenile Division facility on Sunday afternoon. Lieutenant Brian Taylor heads the Detective Bureau. He says he was en route, and the two teenagers were already in custody.

Lieutenant Colonel Tim Whitney says the SWAT team was called in, even though there wasn’t an immediate danger.

The two juveniles were taken into custody in less than two hours after the initial escape call came in.
