Raffle to benefit injured JPAD paramedics

(Festus, Crystal City, Herculaneum, Pevely) There is a benefit raffle taking place to help the Joachim Plattin Ambulance paramedics that were injured in a vehicle accident just over a week ago. JPAD Administrator Curt Stueve says the monies raised will help with medical expenses for Captain Greg MaGuire and Paramedic Eric Bedwell.
Stueve says due to Covid-19 precautions they are asking those that want to purchase tickets to do so online or contact their offices.
The two JPAD paramedics were injured while transporting a patient to Mercy Hospital South on Sunday, July 12th. Their ambulance was struck by an impaired driver while driving north on I-55 just north of Pevely.
