Raider Sophomore Karter Kekec Named Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play it Forward Athlete of the Week

(BONNE TERRE) North County Raider Sophomore Karter Kekec has been named the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play it Forward Athlete of the Week. Kekec, helped lead the Raiders to a 2-0 record against a pair of MAAA opponents this week. He averaged 23.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3 rebounds and 1 steal on the week. Kekec also shot 50% from the 3 and 71% from the free throw line. Head coach Jimmy Palmer says their week started off with a tough homecoming game against Ste. Genevieve, and Kekec stepped up.

Coach Palmer has said that his sophomore guard has improved more and more as the season has gone on, and that he’s looking forward to coaching him two more year.

As the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play it Forward Athlete of the Week Karter will get a t shirt a certificate and a donation will be made to a charity of his choice.
