Raiders and Hawks Face Off for Spot in Class 4 District 1 Championship
(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro Hawks host the North County Raiders in a Class 4 district 1 semifinal tonight in a rematch of a week 4 regular season game. The Hawks sit at 5-4 on the season and defeated the Raiders in their previous game 36-14. Hawks head coach Bill Sucharski knows North County has an explosive offense and slowing that down is priority number 1
Sucharski knows his team has gotten better as the season progressed, and they will have to play at their best to move onto the championship game.
The Raiders have a 5-3 record on the season and won three of the last 4 game after losing to Hillsboro. Karter Kekec has electrified the gridiron all season. Head coach Brian Jones looks to get him involved early and often.
Hillsboro proved to be the more physical team in week 4, Jones says that will be a major key to winning tonight.
