Rally to Honor Josie held at Dent County Courthouse in Salem

(Salem) Community members in Dent County and the town of Salem are calling for justice in the death of 10-year-old Josie Ann Abney.
They gathered outside the Dent County Courthouse Tuesday night to honor her life.
The Dent County Coroner’s office says the little girl weighed less than 40-pounds when she collapsed and died on October 3rd.
Randall Abney and Susan Abney are charged with abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death.
The couple had adopted the girl.
