Desloge Chamber to hold Ransom’s-Desloge Mercantile Grand opening Saturday

The Desloge Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting soon for a new business. Cheri Henderson is the executive director of the chamber. She’s excited for this new venture, situated at an old location, which may rekindle some good memories from residents of Desloge and neighboring communities.

The grand opening will be at 10 o’clock on Saturday, October 14th with the ribbon cutting that afternoon at 1. Ransom’s-Desloge Mercantile is located across the railroad tracks from Lincoln Street and near Desloge City Park. Their website says they will sell candy, soda, ice cream, specialty items and the best lemonade this side of Desloge.
