Recycle those Christmas items

Last year, there were a few drop-off locations at area schools in which the public could drop off their Christmas wrapping paper and other items to be recycled. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, that was not an option this year. However, the public can take those items to the Recycling Center in Hillsboro. Robert Bradshaw with the Jefferson County recycling program gives the address to where the residents can go to drop off those items.

The Jefferson County Recycling Center will be closed on both Friday and Saturday this week due to the New Year’s holiday. You can also drop off items at the bins located at the High Ridge Civic Center, and at the Jefferson County Library Windsor location.
