Red Bluff Campground in Pucky Huddle Opens Friday

(Pucky Huddle) The newly renovated Red Bluff Recreation Area in Pucky Huddle opens back up to the public on Friday.

Mark Twain National Forest Ranger Becky Ewing is excited about it.

And those who are skeptical about the changes at Red Bluff should give it a try first.

And Ewing says parts of the recreation area may look a little barren at first but it won’t take long for those areas to grow back and regain that natural beauty.

Some camping sites at Red Bluff need to be reserved by going to recreation.gov and some of the other camping sites are first come first serve.

After they open on Friday, the recreation area will be open for campers and visitors through the end of October.

Red Bluff is located off ‘V’ Highway in southern Crawford County.
