(Farmington) The annual Regional Radio Blood Drive is coming up on Monday, October 18th with two locations in Farmington and Festus. Joe Zydlo with the American Red Cross says this drive is taking on extra importance this year, as the Red Cross has issued a critical need for blood.
We asked Zydlo why supplies are so low right now.
The Regional Radio Blood Drive is Monday, October 18th from 9 until 7 at the Farmington VFW and the Jefferson County Family YMCA in Festus. The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 200 units of blood that day. You can make an appointment by calling 1-800-448-3256 or by going to redcrossblood.org.
