Regional Radio Once Again Cited for Excellence in Broadcasting

(Farmington) We are proud to announce Regional Radio staff in Farmington and Festus will take home five awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association later this year.

Griffin Weinberg and Luke Turnbough are the two finalists in the Sports category, Griff for his DeSoto football training camp report and Luke for his story called Let’s Play Catch.

It’s the story of Dan Bryan and his quest to play catch with a different person each day for a year to remember and honor his son Ethan who died in a car crash.

Korey Johnson is a finalist for the first time in Feature Reporting for his story on the Jefferson County Wet Lab.

Veteran newsman Ryan Ryneheimer is a finalist for his complete newscast from January.

And veteran broadcaster Louie Seiberlich is a finalist for News Series for the tragic story on the death of Bonne Terre Police Officer Lane Burns.

First place winners and Certificate of Merit winners will be announced during the Missouri Broadcasters convention held at the Lake of the Ozarks in June.
