Jill Wruck – Forward

Wruck was one of the premier scorers for the North County varsity girls soccer team. She was extremely talented on the ball with excellent touch and a terrific shot. She is the first girls soccer player from the Raiders program to go on to play college soccer as she will be attending and playing for Stephens College in the fall.

Kayleigh Winch – Defender

Winch was a force to be reckoned with on the backline for the North County varsity girls soccer team. She was the team’s vocal leader on the backline and was tabbed as a team captain for the 2020 season. Winch showed tremendous unselfishness on the pitch and was terrific at making plays for her teammates. She will be attending Mineral Area College in the fall where she will play for the Cardinals women’s basketball team.

Bri Morgan – Goalkeeper

Morgan was the last line of defense for the North County varsity girls soccer team as the goalkeeper for the past few seasons. She had shown great progression in learning the position and patrolling between the posts. Morgan was always aggressive off the line and was fearless when it came to taking on oncoming strikers. She will be attending Mineral Area College in the fall where she will play for the Cardinals softball team.

St. Pius Lancers:

Molly Flanagan – Defender

Flanagan was set to be a four-year starter for the St. Pius varsity girls soccer team this spring and has been one of the team’s elite defenders in recent years. Following her junior season last year, she was named All-Conference and All-District. Flanagan is currently undecided on where she will attend college but she has garnered interest from several schools to continue her soccer career.

Kacey Flanagan – Forward

Flanagan would have been a four-year starter with the Lancers varsity girls soccer team this spring and had been one of the team’s primary offensive threats. She was named All-Conference following her junior season last year. Flanagan will be attending Marryville University to study speech pathology.

RoseMary Surdyke – Goalkeeper

Surdyke was in a position this spring to compete to be the St. Pius varsity girls soccer team’s starting goalie. She served as the backup keeper to All-State Jordyn Spreck last season. Surdyke will be attending Hillsdale College to study psychology.

Molly Bange – Defender

Bange was going to be a four-year starter for the St. Pius varsity girls soccer team this spring and had done it all for the Lancers during her tenure. She began as a defensive player who then transitioned to being a utility player who could handle multiple spots on the pitch later in her career. Bange will be attending Missouri State University to study forensic psychology.

Madison Kurzweil – Defender

Kurzweil was set to be a three-year starter for the Lancers varsity girls soccer team this spring. She began her career with St. Pius as a wing and midfielder but transitioned to a defensive position last year and excelled. Kurzweil will be attending Tulane University to study political economics.

Maria Kronlage – Midfielder

Kronlage was heading into her second season as a starter for the St. Pius varsity girls soccer team. She could most often be found patrolling the midfield and provided the Lancers will a lot of meaningful minutes.

Sara Kutilek – Defender

Kutilek was primarily a JV player for the St. Pius girls soccer team but was going to contribute to the varsity team quite a bit this season.
