Relaxing in the Park car show this weekend

(Festus) Returning this year will be the Relaxing in the Park car, bike, and truck show, and it all begins on Friday evening. The event returns to Larry G. Crites Memorial Park in Festus. Barb Lowry is the Director of Tourism and Recreation for the City of Festus. She says things will kick off with a gathering on Friday night at the Festus Public Library parking lot.

Lowry says the two-day show will be held on Saturday and Sunday…and they plan to have a cruise along Festus Main Street on Saturday night.

There is no cost to view the Relaxing in the Park car, bike, and truck show at Crites Memorial Park. However, all visitors will be asked to park in designated areas on the park grounds.

On a related note for events in Festus, the rescheduled date for Swinging Under the Stars will be on Sunday, July 23rd at 6 pm. The concert was postponed on Sunday due to the threat of storms.
