Renee Reuter files legislation to help elderly with fixed incomes

(Jefferson City) State Representative Renee Reuter of Imperial filed a House joint resolution which is an amendment of Article X of the Constitution of Missouri. Reuter says this resolution would help retired residents with fixed incomes get a better handle on their property taxes.
House Joint Resolution 51 was referred to the Special Committee on Tax Reform and has completed a public hearing. The next step is for the House to officially approve the resolution.
