Representative McGirl On Old Mines 300th Birthday Festival & Celebration in June

(Old Mines) The Village of Old Mines in Washington County is celebrating their 300th birthday this year.

The big celebration is coming up on Saturday, June 24th.

State Representative Mike McGirl represents Old Mines and he’s excited for the community.

The Saturday, June 24th festival for Old Mines will be held on the St. Joachim Catholic Church grounds.

That’s not the only event celebrating the Old Mines anniversary.

There are events scheduled each month this year.

Next month, there are two events.

On Saturday May 6th, the Make a Wish Car Show will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Old Mines and on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday the 21st, the La Brigade Rendezvous will take place on the church grounds.

There are several other special events planned for the rest of the year to celebrate Old Mines.
