Representative McGirl Recaps Missouri Legislative Session

(Potosi) Another Missouri legislative session is complete after wrapping up Friday evening.

State Representative Mike McGirl of Potosi says a filibuster on the final two days stifled a couple bills republicans wanted to pass.

Representative McGirl got a couple of his own bills passed but others did not. His income tax bill to help farmers made it through.

There has been no major talk yet about the possibility of a special session happening later in the year.

The annual veto session is tentatively scheduled for September 13th at the state capitol in Jeff City.
