Representative McGirl Says There Are Two Early Priorities For Missouri Legislature

(Jefferson City) The first three days of the new Missouri legislative session is in the books.
Mike McGirl of Potosi is the state representative for the 118th District which covers Washington County and a portion of Jefferson County.
He says two things need to be taken up soon.
Representative McGirl will lead a House committee this year.
He was appointed on opening day as the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
This is the committee is responsible for closely examining the state’s tax policy and sources of revenue.
McGirl served as vice-chair of the committee last year.
