Representative McGirl Updates Washington & Jefferson Counties on Covid-19

(Potosi) State Representative Mike McGirl of Potosi represents the 118th District which covers parts of Washington and Jefferson counties.

He provided us an update this week on the Covid-19 crisis in his district.

He first wanted to correct himself on something he told us last week regarding the doctor from Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, who had to self-quarantine, after being in contact with a person in Ohio in early March who had the virus.

Representative McGirl gave us an update on Jefferson County which now has 13 confirmed cases.

There is also a “Stay at Home” order in effect for Jefferson County.
