Representative McGirl’s Bingo Bill

(Jefferson City) State Representative Mike McGirl hopes a new bill he’s introduced this year in Jefferson City will get some movement in the House soon.

The Potosi man says bingo is it’s name-o.

Representative McGirl’s bill would do away with a certain tax these groups have to pay.

After this Thursday, this year’s Missouri legislative session will have reached it’s midway mark.

Next week, the state legislature will not be working in Jefferson City.

They will have the entire week off for what they call “Spring Break”.

The last day of the regular session is Friday, May 12th.
