Representative Wright to Fight for Bismarck in Veto Session

(Bismarck) A couple weeks ago, Governor Parson approved the new state budget but he did make several line-item vetoes.

We asked State Representative Dale Wright of Farmington if the state legislature will return to Jefferson City later this summer.

Representative Wright says he will be fighting for Bismarck.

Wright explains what happened next.

Overriding a governor’s veto is not easy in Missouri.

Wright tells us the State Senate will need 23 votes and the House needs 109 votes for override.
