Reynolds County V.F.W. In Centerville Represented at National Veterans Legislative Conference

(Washington D.C.) Randy Tollivar, the quartermaster with Reynolds County V.F.W. Post 6660 in Centerville, has returned from a visit to Washington D.C. as a member of the V.F.W. Department of Missouri Delegation.

He took part in the National Legislative Conference.

Tollivar says he and hundreds of other veterans were there to talk with their elected officials about legislation that is very important to them.

Tollivar says one troubling issue is what he calls “Claim Sharks” who promise the world to these veterans who think they are getting help with their benefits but that is not the case.

He says a veterans best bet if they need help, is to talk to your local V.F.W.

Tollivar says the V.F.W. wants these bad players to start paying the price when they prey upon and steal from United States military veterans.

Tollivar says if you agree to please call Missouri Senators Hawley and Schmitt and Congressman Jason Smith and ask them to pass the Guard V.A. Benefits Act.
