Rock Community responds to two fires in three days

(Arnold, Imperial) The Rock Community Fire Protection District responded to a pair of house fires over a span of three days. Rock PIER Officer Stephanie Jackson says the first fire took place on Saturday evening and the call came in at 5:46 to a home off Telegraph Road in the 3300 block of Boca Raton Drive.

There were no injuries to people as a result of the fire, but three cats and two reptiles perished in the fire. Rock Community was assisted by Mehlville Fire and the Rock Township Ambulance District.

The other fire took place early Monday morning at a residence on Windsor Harbor Road in Imperial. Jackson says the call came in a little after 3 o’clock in the morning.

There were no injuries from the fire. Rock Community was assisted by the Antonia Fire Protection District.
