Rock Memorial, Festus meet for first time in 2020 on KJFF

2 old baseball rivals will meet for the first time in 2020 Thursday in Imperial as Rock Memorial takes on the Festus 253 Diamond Club on KJFF.

Rock Memorial had its other game this week rained out and is looking to improve on its 5-5 start to the season.

Head coach Danny Sigman says in order to beat their old foe, they’ll have to avoid mistakes in crucial moments.

Festus won both games of a doubleheader against Union Monday to open their season but lost at Charleston Tuesday night.

As American Legion district opponents last year, Festus won both games against Rock Memorial.
