Romine Leaves State Senate Position with Nearly a Year Left in Term

(Jefferson City) Gary Romine will be leaving the Missouri Senate to lead the State Tax Commission.
That announcement came Monday from Governor Mike Parson.
The 3rd Senatorial District will not be represented until a new senator is elected in November.
Romine will make over $100,000 a year as tax commission chair.
The staff in the 3rd Senatorial District office in Jefferson City will be able to assist constituents until a new state senator is back on the job.
