Safety First If Spending Your Holiday Weekend in the Great Outdoors

(Wappapello) If you are planning on spending time outdoors during this Independence Day weekend have fun.

However, be safe too.

That’s the message from Park Ranger Andrew Jefferson with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Wappapello in Wayne County.

You can see a large fireworks display Saturday night at Lake Wappapello near the dam.

The display will begin when it gets dark.
