Salem Teen Injured in Auto Accident in Dent County

(Salem, Mo.) A teenager from Salem was taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital after being involved in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Dent County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on Highway 32, 14 miles east of Salem, when a GMC Jimmy driven by 19-year-old Austin Roark of Salem traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Roark sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
