Salem Woman Injured In Accident

(Salem) A Salem woman was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Reynolds County.

The highway patrol says the accident happened on Highway 21, south of Centerville, when a car driven by Christine Patterson of Salem crossed the roadway and hit a Jeep Wrangler driven by Karen Baskin of Centerville, Arkansas.

Patterson was seriously injured and flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Baskin sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
