Scam Alert Warning from Ste. Genevieve County

(Ste. Genevieve County) The Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department wants to give you a heads up about another scam.
Jason Schott is the chief deputy of the sheriff’s department.
He describes the latest swindle.
Schott says it’s OK to hang up the phone or delete the e-mail if you have the slightest thought about it being illegitimate.
The Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department has also posted this scam alert on their Facebook page.
